Khwopa Engineering College showcased its commitment to academic excellence and curriculum enhancement by actively participating in the recent Curriculum Development Workshop organized by the Faculty of Engineering, Purbanchal University.
Held at the serene Kabilas Resort in Bharatpur, Chitwan, from the 12th to the 14th of Falgun 2080 BS, the three-day workshop aimed to review the syllabi of academic programs under the Faculty of Engineering.
The inauguration session, chaired by the esteemed Prof. Debi Prasad Bhattarai, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Purbanchal University, marked the beginning of this insightful workshop. Distinguished guests, including Prof. Dr. Yadav Raj Koirala, Vice Chancellor, and Mr. Nilmani Pokhrel, Registrar, both from Purbanchal University, graced the occasion, underscoring the importance of the workshop in shaping the future of engineering education.
Throughout the event, heads of subject committees, experts, and faculties from constituent campuses and affiliated colleges engaged in constructive discussions and deliberations. These sessions, spread across various streams, delved into the intricacies of curriculum development, allowing participants to share their expertise and provide valuable insights for syllabi improvement.
Following the workshop's conclusion, Prof. Debi Prasad Bhattarai expressed gratitude to the heads of subject committees and experts for their contributions. Notably, faculties from different disciplines, including B. Arch, B.E. Civil, Computer and Electronics, Communication, and Automation, offered their invaluable feedback on the syllabi, enriching the discourse.
A dedicated team of 14 faculties from Khwopa Engineering College, led by Principal Sujan Maka, played a pivotal role in the workshop. Their active participation, alongside heads of departments and senior faculties, significantly contributed to the event's success, reflecting the college's commitment to academic excellence and collaborative initiatives.
