On 24th Bhadra 2081 (9th September 2024), Khwopa Engineering College successfully conducted a parents' meeting for students of Batch-2080 (Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Communication, and Automation Engineering) currently enrolled in the first year, second semester. The primary objectives of the meeting were to provide parents with an update on their children's academic performance, present the internal and university-level examination results from the past five years, inform parents about the college's educational and extracurricular initiatives, and collect feedback from parents regarding the college's activities.
The meeting was attended by the college's principal, vice-principal, faculty members, administrative staff, and 41 parents. During the event, 11 parents, speaking on behalf of the group, expressed their views. They emphasized the importance of regular communication with parents about their children's academic progress and areas for improvement. Additionally, they stressed the need for focused teaching, especially in preparation for board examinations, and recommended the provision of supplementary classes as necessary. Furthermore, all attending parents provided feedback through a structured questionnaire prepared by the college.
Senior Assistant Professor Mr. Keshav Poudel presented the internal and university-level examination results from the past five years, with further clarification provided by Examination Head Mr. Ganesh Ram Dhonju. In response to the concerns raised by the parents, Principal Er. Sujan Maka and Vice-Principal Dr. Subeg Man Bijukchhen addressed the meeting, providing insights into the college's overall activities and initiatives. The program was coordinated by Mr. Nabaraj Budhathoki, Head of the Science and Humanities Department, with the support of the department.
