After a long time with pressurized situation due to the pandemic Covid-19. Today, as a deputy mayor of Bhaktapur Municipality and the vice chairperson of Khwopa circle, I am delighted to share my Warm Greetings on the occasion of 20 consecutive years of establishment of Khwopa Engineering College affiliated to Purbanchal University and 13 consecutive years of establishment of Khwopa College of Engineering affiliated to Tribhuwan University with

• Honorable chief guest and the chairperson of Nepal Workers and Peasant Party, respected Mr. Narayan Man Bijukchhen ”. 
• The chairperson of this program and the mayor of Bhaktapur Municipality and the chair person of these colleges Mr Sunil Prajapati,
• Honorable Guest and the member of parliament, Mr. Prem Suwal
• Special Guest and the member of Provincial parliament, Mr. Surendra Raj Gosai
• Special Guest and the member of Provincial parliament, Ms. Srijana Sainju
•  All the distinguish personalities from various institutions and organizations seated on the dais &
• Principals and Vice Principals  from Khwopa Engineering College and Khwopa College of Engineering

• Professors, faculties and administrative staffs, valuable guests, architects and engineers, and dear students, NAMASKAR!

And dear graduates from Khwopa Engineering College and Khwopa College of Engineering from different streams in engineering, I as a Deputy Mayor of Bhaktapur Municipality especially would like to congratulate all my graduates for completing successfully. To share this happy moment as well as to wish you all A BRIGHT FUTURE ahead, we are garnering in this college premises today and make the event memorable.

As we are in the 21st century, we all behold education as the third eye to open our inner mind for the purpose one aims to. We all believe that Education is the only tool that leads empowerment, a process of strengthening individuals, organizations and communities and be competent to give a positive transformation of the society. Bhaktapur municipality believes in quality education and we stood firmly and present scenario of academic arena in the country, is the output of it.

Therefore we are confident that it is only the education that can lead the society to attain human development for this century and further. Without going far away, value and importance of education can be observed within the Bhaktapur city, twenty to thirty years of time span.

These colleges along with other academic institutions undertaken by Bhaktapur Municipality has shown tremendous quality impact on every aspect of civil society in Bhaktapur and will be moving forward better off, to achieve the envisaged destination - that is : Making Bhaktapur "A CITY OF EXCELLENCE"  .

Bhaktapur city, with full of art/architecture and cultural vibrancy, our leaders stepped forward with highly commendable act in Academic arena establishing Khwopa Higher Secondary School in 2056 BS and continued with Khwopa College/ Sharada campus/ Khwopa Engineering college / Khwopa College of Engineering & Khwopa  Poly-technique undertaken by Bhaktapur Municipality, to bring positive and remarkable transformation in the society. With the Vision of Nepal Workers and Peasants' Party along with Bhaktapur Municipality is to "Intellectualize our society" to make our society be the exemplary in every action that the society needs and as Bhaktapur is "a city of art/ architecture and culture" and "an arena of science and technology", aiming to link "EDUCATION WITH PRODUCTIVE LABOR” – (SHIKHCHYA LAI SHRAMA SANGA JODNA) and make our young generation/youths

•  Make QUALITY EDUCATION ACCESSIBLE even to the people from economically common strata of the society.

• Be encouraged to JOIN NATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND SERVE THE COUNTRY
•  MAKE CULTURALLY RICH AND MORALLY HONORED CITIZEN.

• IMPART SCIENCE AS WELL AS MODERN ENGINEERING to conserve and improve the indigenous knowledge, traditional technologies & materials.

• Conduct research works on all types of science including human sciences/ environment science/various engineering, including traditional architecture, archeological structures and indigenous know- how to continue and to practice our culture and keep our identity alive with recorded and researched documents for the future generation of 21st century.

To achieve this, our leaders established these institutions up to this level as we all might have heard "What we do Today can improve all our Tomorrows". As we have come across two decades and we are still exploring for the BEST result. AND we are still heading towards establishing KHWOPA UNIVERSITY & hoping for the dream come TRUE in near FUTURE with our strong belief on theme of: TO THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE.

Last but not least, Bhaktapur Municipality have full assurance that we all join our hands together for the refined outcome as our ancestors have shown the pathway and let us jointly keep the liveliness and vibrancy of our city for infinity and be felt by further generations. I urge with you all that instead getting frustrated by the undesired situation let us all LEARN big lesson and make use of it further and make our city A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE.
